Remote E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Remote E-commerce Operations Manager to lead their online fulfillment and logistics operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products to customers across various regions. You will be responsible for managing the entire e-commerce order lifecycle, from order processing and inventory management to shipping and customer service related to fulfillment.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain management in an e-commerce context, and the ability to optimize processes for scalability and customer satisfaction, all while working remotely.

• Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce order fulfillment process, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels across online channels, implementing strategies to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers.
• Implement and refine operational workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and delivery speed.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, cost‑saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards in warehousing and shipping.
• Lead and manage a remote team of operations specialists, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve fulfillment‑related issues promptly.

• Extensive experience in e‑commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a remote leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize fulfillment processes for online retail.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
