Senior Water & Wastewater Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater, you will serve as both a technical leader and a client relationship manager, responsible for growing and delivering municipal water and wastewater projects throughout Tennessee and the surrounding region. This role is ideal for a proven seller-doer who enjoys developing trusted client relationships, identifying opportunities, winning new work, and leading successful project execution.

As a Senior Project Manager in Water/Wastewater, you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water, wastewater, stormwater, and infrastructure projects while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and a leader in business development efforts.

We ll count on you to:

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with municipal utility clients and key stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and help capture new project opportunities within the Tennessee water and wastewater market.
• Serve as a seller-doer, combining technical leadership with business development and client engagement.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of Consor staff and subconsultants.
• Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and overall client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients throughout planning, design, and construction.
• Lead or support Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, presentations, and interview teams.
• Develop technical memoranda, engineering reports, planning studies, and design documents.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to execute account management and growth strategies.
• Represent Consor at industry conferences, professional organizations, client meetings, and community events.
• Mentor junior staff while fostering a culture of client service and business growth.

• Minimum of 8+ years relevant water/wastewater engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee state, or the ability to obtain reciprocity upon employment
• BS in Engineering
• Experience managing municipal water/wastewater projects
• Planning and design experience with water/wastewater projects
• Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communications
• Proven ability to develop and work with clients to help win and deliver municipal projects
