Senior Space Planning Manager - PetSmart

Lead the Space Planning initiatives at Pet Smart’s Canada Home Office as a Senior Manager. In this pivotal role, you will enhance retail space efficiency while collaborating with diverse teams to foster innovation in store presentation.

As the Senior Manager of Space Planning, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing strategies that optimize store layouts in alignment with Pet Smart's corporate goals. You will lead a team, ensuring that both planograms and floor plans maximize inventory returns and reduce costs. Your expertise will be crucial in driving merchandising and assortment success within our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct space planning efforts for all Canadian Pet Smart locations

• Create effective floor plans and planograms

• Leverage JDA tools for productivity enhancements

• Engage in category management and occupational resets

• Identify strategic opportunities for process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• 5-7 years in relevant space planning experience

• 2-4 years of leadership experience

• Proficiency in JDA Suite and MS Office

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
