About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to lead their purchasing operations in a fully remote capacity. This senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's procurement strategy, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. You will drive efficiency, cost savings, and ensure the acquisition of high-quality goods and services that meet business needs.
Working from home, you will collaborate extensively with various departments and remote teams, utilizing digital tools and communication platforms to achieve strategic procurement objectives and contribute to the organization's overall success and growth from anywhere.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee the sourcing and negotiation process for major contracts and high-value purchases.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform procurement strategies and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective procurement strategies and deliver significant cost savings.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, data analytics tools, and remote collaboration technologies.
