About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Airline Fleet Manager to oversee their aircraft fleet operations, working remotely to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This senior role involves managing the lifecycle of the airline's aircraft, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance planning, and disposal. You will work closely with various departments, including operations, maintenance, finance, and legal, to ensure the fleet meets operational demands while optimizing performance and minimizing costs.

This is a pivotal position for a leader passionate about aviation asset management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the strategic plan for the airline's aircraft fleet , including acquisition, financing, and disposal strategies.
Oversee the maintenance planning and scheduling for the entire fleet to ensure maximum aircraft availability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor fleet performance metrics, including utilization rates, operational costs, and fuel efficiency, identifying opportunities for optimization.
Manage relationships with aircraft manufacturers, lessors, and maintenance providers.
Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations related to fleet operations.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams on lease agreements, purchase contracts, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

Master's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Extensive experience (10+ years) in airline fleet management or a senior role within airline operations/asset management.
Proven track record in strategic fleet planning, aircraft acquisition, and maintenance oversight.
Strong financial acumen and experience with aircraft financing and leasing.
In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, maintenance programs, and operational best practices.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
