The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused Examinations Coordinator to support the successful delivery of the MRCPCH and DCH Theory examinations worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the operational delivery of the College's theory examinations, which take place three times a year across multiple international locations. You will support the Theory Examinations Manager and lead key examination processes, working across online systems, project activity, stakeholder management and operational delivery.

You will also provide line management and development support to two members of the Theory Examinations Team, while contributing to ongoing improvements to examination processes, quality assurance and candidate experience.

Working closely with colleagues across the College, external suppliers, system developers and examination stakeholders, you will help ensure examinations are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating the operational delivery of all aspects of the MRCPCH and DCH Theory examinations, including examination preparation, delivery and follow-up activity
Supporting the strategic delivery of the theory examinations, including objectives, budgets and service development
Providing line management and development support to two members of the examinations team
Leading the development and effective use of the examinations booking system and acting as the main internal point of contact for its usage and development
Overseeing the Zendesk ticketing system and related candidate and stakeholder communications
Leading and coordinating delivery of the Assessment and Recruitment Content Hub Event (ARCHE)
Coordinating and investigating audits and complaints, and providing support for malpractice investigations
Undertaking ongoing and one-off data analysis projects, including analysis of candidate feedback, test centre information and examination bookings
Working alongside the Theory Examinations Manager to provide operational support and oversight on examination days
Ensuring examination guidance, website content and stakeholder resources are accurate and kept up to date
Maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure examinations are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards

Essential skills and experience include:

Experience of working with developers of online systems from an administrative and/or development perspective
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong report writing and the ability to present information clearly and persuasively to people at different levels
Awareness of effective project management principles, including risk mitigation, risk management and governance
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely and accurately
Excellent IT skills and thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential or sensitive matters and communicate difficult messages with diplomacy and tact
A pragmatic and solution-focused approach, with the ability to identify improvements and adapt effectively to changing circumstances
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple objectives, competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards
