The Regional Director – MENA is a full-time hybrid role based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for leading Blake Atlantic’s strategic presence across the MENA region, including identifying and evaluating investment and partnership opportunities, overseeing regional operations, and driving growth across portfolio businesses. The Regional Director will cultivate relationships with investors, partners, regulators, and other key stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with the group’s long-term objectives and governance standards.
Day-to-day activities include market analysis, pipeline development, deal sourcing support, performance monitoring of regional assets, and preparation of reports and recommendations for senior leadership. The role also involves coordinating cross-functional teams, representing Blake Atlantic at regional events, and contributing to the refinement of regional strategies and business plans.
- Proven regional leadership experience in MENA, with a track record in investments, corporate development, or strategic management.
- Strong skills in market analysis, financial evaluation, and strategic planning, particularly within diversified or multi-sector portfolios.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with investors, partners, and regulators, and to negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and seniority levels.
- Experience in sectors such as capital markets, healthcare, real estate, or retail is highly beneficial, along with familiarity with regional regulatory environments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is a plus.
