Our client is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a portfolio of interconnected projects within their remote-first operations. This critical role involves orchestrating multiple project teams, ensuring strategic alignment, and driving significant business outcomes across various departments. You will be responsible for defining program governance, managing interdependencies, and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives that contribute to the company's overarching goals.
This position demands a leader adept at managing complexity, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders in a distributed setting.
- Define and manage the overall strategy, roadmap, and execution of assigned programs.
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects within the program portfolio.
- Identify and manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
- Lead and mentor project managers and team members involved in the program.
- Establish and report on program key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or PgMP certification is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in program or portfolio management, with a significant portion managing large-scale, complex initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a hybrid or remote environment.
