About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to lead their procurement operations in a fully remote capacity. This leadership role is instrumental in developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services critical to the organization's success. You will oversee a remote team, drive efficiency improvements, and foster strong collaborations across departments to meet business objectives.

- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of purchasing professionals.
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a remote work environment.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and experience with procurement software/ERP systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
