About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Remote Hospitality Project Manager to lead diverse projects within the hospitality sector. This position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to manage projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within the hospitality industry, driving initiatives that could span far beyond Randburg .
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal staff and external vendors or contractors.
- Effectively communicate project progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
- Ensure quality of project deliverables and manage the change control process.
- Monitor and report on project performance, taking corrective action as needed.
- Proven track record of managing projects within the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
