Area Manager - Operations

Our client is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee and drive operational performance across several key locations within their operational network, based out of the Mahikeng region. This role demands a strategic leader capable of managing multiple sites, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring consistent implementation of company standards. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, achieving operational excellence, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business in the area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-site operational management and a deep understanding of regional business dynamics.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for operations across assigned locations in the Mahikeng area.
• Monitor and manage the performance of each operational site, ensuring targets for productivity, quality, and cost are met.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational best practices across all managed locations.
• Develop and manage budgets for the area, ensuring financial targets are achieved and resources are utilized efficiently.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence among site teams.
• Collaborate with regional and national management to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in an area or multi-site management role.
• Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency and managing P&L for multiple locations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in operations management software and reporting tools.
