An excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join an established home care provider, supporting the Registered Manager in delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
This is a varied hybrid office and field-based role, with some home working available where appropriate.
The RoleYou’ll help lead the service, supporting Care Assistants and ensuring customers receive the highest standards of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager
- Leading and developing care staff
- Customer assessments, reviews and care plans
- Safeguarding, audits and compliance
- Managing incidents, complaints and risks
- Supporting recruitment, supervisions and appraisals
- Working with customers, families and professionals
- Deputising for the Registered Manager
- Participating in the on-call rota
We’re looking for someone with:
- Adult social care experience, ideally domiciliary care
- Experience supervising or leading care staff
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, supportive leadership style
- Full UK driving licence - essential
- £29,000+ salary
- Full-time position
- Hybrid office/field working
