Senior Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead their procurement operations in Cape Town. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can balance remote work flexibility with essential in-office collaboration to drive significant cost savings and enhance supplier performance. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive procurement strategies, managing a team of procurement professionals, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve significant cost reductions and value creation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement specialists and buyers.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection and negotiation to contract management and performance monitoring.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in procurement.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and achieving substantial cost savings.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced procurement analytics tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
