Senior Project Manager - Offshore Wind

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead significant offshore wind energy projects, based out of their Randburg office with a hybrid work arrangement. This executive role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of complex, multi-million rand projects, from feasibility and design through to construction and commissioning. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, contributing to the growth of renewable energy in South Africa .

• Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of large-scale offshore wind projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including government agencies, local communities, and investors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and implementing corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is essential.
• 10+ years of proven experience in project management, with a significant focus on large infrastructure or renewable energy projects, specifically offshore wind .
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets exceeding R500 million and complex project schedules.
• Strong understanding of offshore construction methodologies, supply chain, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with necessary site visits and office presence.
