Telecom Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Telecom Project Manager to lead and manage complex telecommunications projects, working a hybrid schedule in Upington . This role requires a dynamic individual capable of overseeing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing resources, stakeholders, and risks effectively.

The ideal candidate is a certified project management professional with a strong background in the telecom industry and excellent leadership abilities, instrumental in the successful deployment of critical communication infrastructure in the Upington region and beyond.

• Plan, execute, and finalize telecom projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
• Oversee project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to all stakeholders regularly.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure and technology deployment projects.
• Strong understanding of telecom technologies and project life cycles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
