Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Telecommunications Operations Manager to lead their remote operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the company's telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring its stability, performance, and security. You will lead a team of skilled professionals in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong technical background in telecommunications operations and a passion for managing remote teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a remote team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee the operational performance, availability, and security of all telecommunications systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage incident response, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to minimize service disruption.
- Oversee network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and proactive maintenance initiatives.
- Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of new services and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in telecommunications operations management.
- Proven experience in leading and managing remote teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and telecommunications technologies.
- Experience with ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.
