Project Manager, Project & Program Management, Operations Management

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join their remote team, based anywhere within South Africa. This role is essential for the successful planning, execution, and closure of various organizational projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will collaborate with diverse teams, manage resources, mitigate risks, and ensure all project objectives align with the organization's strategic goals.

• Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines, scope, and budgets using project management methodologies.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress and risks.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards and achieve their objectives.
• Facilitate project team meetings, driving progress and ensuring clear action items.

• Proven working experience in project management, preferably in the non-profit or public sector.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a remote team.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
