Remote Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Senior Project Manager to join their fully remote team, supporting operations that may connect to initiatives relevant to Welkom . This role is designed for a professional who excels in managing complex projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, leveraging digital collaboration tools and a proactive approach. You will lead strategic initiatives, ensure project success across distributed teams, and maintain exceptional communication with stakeholders, irrespective of geographical location.

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource requirements, using virtual collaboration tools.
• Effectively manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing proactive mitigation and contingency plans.
• Facilitate virtual team meetings, foster strong working relationships, and ensure clear, consistent communication among remote team members and stakeholders.
• Track project performance against key metrics, providing timely and accurate reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure all project documentation is meticulously maintained and accessible through centralized cloud-based systems.

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management , with a significant portion in remote or distributed team environments.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation through to successful completion.
• Proficiency with leading project management software and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills for remote work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly across different platforms.
