Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Program Operations Director to lead the strategic direction and operational execution of its key programs, operating entirely from a remote location. - Define and execute the operational strategy for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and manage program teams remotely, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines from initiation to completion.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels and reporting mechanisms for remote stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
- Drive process improvements and best practices in program management for remote execution.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs in a remote or distributed environment.
- Expertise in program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing remote teams, critical for this role, although location is Bloemfontein , the work is fully remote.
