Director of Business Development & Operations

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
• Lead client engagement efforts, building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee the operational delivery of consulting projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
• Manage and mentor a team of consultants and project managers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring profitability and resource optimization.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand service offerings and market penetration.
• Drive innovation in service delivery and operational processes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Develop and present business cases, proposals, and performance reports to senior leadership and clients.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and quality assurance protocols.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, operations management, or a related strategic leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and managing complex operational functions.
• Strong understanding of consulting methodologies and operational best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and relationship management.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools.
• Ability to work independently and lead a remote team effectively.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies in a consultancy environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work remotely within South Africa.
