Head of Global Operations

Our client is seeking an visionary and strategic Head of Global Operations to lead and redefine its international operational landscape. This executive-level position is responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, and optimization of all global operations, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across all regions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in international operations management, a proven ability to lead large, distributed teams, and a deep understanding of global supply chains and logistics.

This role is critical for scaling our client's global presence and ensuring operational excellence worldwide. As a fully remote position, this role offers unparalleled flexibility and the opportunity to manage global operations from anywhere, collaborating virtually with teams across continents. The strategic hub for this role is considered to be Mossel Bay, Western Cape, though physical presence is not required.

• Define and execute the global operational strategy to support the company's long-term growth and market expansion objectives.
• Oversee and manage all international operations, including supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and customer support.
• Lead and inspire a diverse, global team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Develop and implement global operational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all global operations, leveraging data analytics and best practices.
• Manage global operational budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks on a global scale, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Champion innovation in operational processes, technology adoption, and service delivery.
• Report on global operational performance and strategic initiatives to the executive leadership team.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles with global responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global operational strategies that have driven significant business growth and efficiency.
• Expertise in international supply chain management, logistics, and global business operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote, global teams effectively.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large international budgets.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance management systems.
