About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Production Planner to join their team. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing production schedules to meet demand while efficiently utilizing resources. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate closely with manufacturing sites and sales teams to forecast needs, manage material requirements, and ensure smooth production flow. This position requires excellent planning skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex schedules independently from a remote setting.
You will play a key part in ensuring that production targets are met consistently across various facilities.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules considering capacity, materials, and lead times.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to align production plans with demand.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address deviations or constraints.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and components by coordinating with the procurement team.
- Generate production reports and analyze key performance indicators to drive improvements.
- Communicate production plans and updates clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or in a similar planning role.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across distributed teams.
