About the Role
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Operations Excellence Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives within their facilities. Based in Pretoria , you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate quality standards across the organization. This role requires a blend of analytical prowess, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of process optimization techniques.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's operations, fostering a culture where excellence is pursued and achieved, contributing significantly to their strategic goals.
- Lead and manage projects focused on improving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement Lean Six Sigma programs and best practices across departments.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in operations management, continuous improvement, or a similar role.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing operational improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management capabilities.
