About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and forward-thinking Remote Telecoms Network Planner to join their strategic planning division. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for analyzing network capacity, forecasting future demand, and developing detailed plans for network expansion and optimization. - Analyze current network performance, traffic patterns, and capacity utilization.
- Develop long-term network expansion and upgrade plans based on demand forecasts and technological advancements.
- Create detailed capacity planning reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution.
- Identify opportunities for network optimization and cost reduction through strategic planning.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting network planning.
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in network planning, capacity management, or a similar role within the telecommunications sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network architecture, technologies, and services.
- Experience with network planning software and simulation tools is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentation.
