About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and analytical Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join their team in East London . This hybrid role focuses on identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall quality of manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to implement innovative solutions and best practices. This position is ideal for an individual passionate about continuous improvement and driving operational excellence within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for process optimization, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new or improved production methods.
- Develop and deliver training programs to production staff on new processes and best practices.
- Track and report on the impact of implemented improvements, demonstrating ROI and achievement of KPIs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies to recommend innovative solutions for process enhancement.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process improvement or continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and process mapping techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to facilitate change.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
