Remote Industrial Engineer - Manufacturing Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-driven Remote Industrial Engineer to champion Manufacturing Excellence initiatives. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across the client's manufacturing sites globally. Leveraging data analysis and lean methodologies, you will identify areas for improvement and drive the adoption of best practices.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and a passion for continuous improvement, capable of influencing and guiding operational teams without direct physical oversight.

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing programs, Six Sigma projects, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and optimize plant layouts, workflows, and production systems.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track manufacturing effectiveness.
• Collaborate with site-level management and operational teams to drive adoption of best practices.
• Provide training and coaching on continuous improvement methodologies to site personnel.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing operations, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other CI methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and process modeling.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives in a remote environment.
