About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Systems Architect to join their fully remote team, driving the design and evolution of their core telecommunications infrastructure. In this strategic role, you will conceptualize, design, and oversee the implementation of scalable, resilient, and innovative network architectures that will shape the future of our client's services. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical blueprints.

This is a pivotal position for a seasoned architect who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of telecommunications technology and influencing the company's technical direction from a remote perspective.

• Develop and maintain the overall architecture for the company's telecommunications network, including core, access, and transport layers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Design scalable, highly available, and secure network solutions that meet current and future business needs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure architectural designs are implemented correctly and efficiently.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex architectural challenges and strategic initiatives.
• Document architectural decisions, standards, and roadmaps, and present them to stakeholders.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture.
• Deep understanding of 5G, LTE, SDN/NFV , cloud networking, and IP routing protocols.
• Proven experience designing large-scale, carrier-grade network infrastructures.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on long-term vision.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
