About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Production Planner to optimize their manufacturing schedules and resource allocation. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage production flows and coordinate logistics from your home office. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, creating efficient production plans, and ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing costs and waste.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills for coordinating with various teams, and the ability to thrive in a self-directed, remote work environment.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and available resources.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet targets and address unforeseen issues.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports on production performance, inventory levels, and schedule adherence for management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar supply chain planning role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP, MRP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and remote communication skills.
