Metal Polisher

A manufacturer of low-volume, complex architectural products has a new vacancy for a Metal Polisher to join the team. Working on a range of bespoke, low-volume products, you will be responsible for polishing and finishing a wide variety of machined metal components. The products vary considerably in shape, size and complexity previous metal pol, so metal polishing or metal finishing experience and a keen eye for detail is essential

• Polishing and finishing machined aluminium components to a high standard.
• Working with small, detailed and sometimes intricate components.
• Preparing surfaces to achieve the required cosmetic finish.
• Removing machining marks, scratches and imperfections.
• Inspecting work and identifying any imperfections.
• Working from job specifications to achieve the required finish.
• Manage own workload to meet production deadlines.

• Previous professional experience in metal polishing or metal finishing.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to identify surface imperfections and achieve a consistent high-quality finish.
• Ability to work accurately while meeting production deadlines.
• A reliable and positive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
