Closets by Design, a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, designs, manufactures, and installs a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall beds, garage cabinetry, and more.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Shop Workers / General Laborers to join our growing team! Prior woodworking experience is preferred, but we will train motivated and reliable individuals who are ready to learn and grow in a rewarding, hands-on environment.
Schedule- Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
- Produce quality custom closets, garages, and home organizing systems.
- Follow established quality and safety standards.
- Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
- Read and follow technical drawings and cut lists for daily jobs.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products.
- Assist in cabinet, drawer, and product assembly.
- Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
- Experience in woodworking, cabinet making, or related manufacturing fields (32mm systems) a plus.
- Familiarity with woodworking equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- CNC operating experience a plus (
Note:
this is an operator position, not a programming role). - Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
