Production Planner - FMCG

Our client is seeking an organized and analytical Production Planner to join their FMCG operations in Paarl, Western Cape . This hybrid role is crucial for optimizing production schedules, managing resource allocation, and ensuring the efficient manufacturing of goods to meet market demand. You will be responsible for developing detailed production plans, coordinating with various departments, and monitoring progress to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop, implement, and manage detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and plant capacity.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to ensure availability of raw materials, equipment, and labor.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions.
• Optimize resource utilization and minimize production costs while meeting quality standards.

• Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar planning role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
