• Develop and maintain the overall architecture for 5G core and RAN networks.
• Design and specify solutions for network virtualization (NFV) and software‑defined networking (SDN).
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors for 5G deployments.
• Create high‑level and low‑level design documents for network components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of new network features.
• Define strategies for network automation, orchestration, and management.
• Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning for 5G services.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network engineers and architects.

• Master's degree or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in telecommunications network design and architecture, with at least 5 years focused on 5G technologies.
• In‑depth knowledge of 5G core network functions (AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF), RAN (gNB), and transport networks.
• Strong experience with NFV/SDN concepts and platforms (e.g., Open Stack, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in cloud‑native architectures and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with network slicing, edge computing, and MEC.
• Excellent understanding of IP routing protocols and network security principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex architectural initiatives in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
