Role DescriptionThe Metal Fabricator role is a full-time hybrid position based in Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, with some flexibility for work from home tasks such as documentation or coordination. The Metal Fabricator will cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to drawings, measurements, and technical specifications, using appropriate tools, machinery, and fabrication methods. Daily responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, performing grinding and finishing work, preparing materials, and ensuring all fabricated components meet quality and safety standards.
The role also involves reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with supervisors and colleagues on project requirements, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following health and safety regulations. Occasional material handling and equipment operation, including forklifts where applicable and permitted, may be required to support production and workflow.
- Strong metalworking skills, including cutting, shaping, welding basics, and assembling metal components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to metal fabrication.
- Experience with grinding and finishing techniques to achieve specified surface quality.
- Ability to safely perform forklift operation and material handling, where licenses or certifications are held.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and work orders.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
- Prior experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a related trade; vocational training or technical certification is an asset.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
- Basic communication skills in English; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
