• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new beauty and skincare products, from concept generation to commercialization.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify new product opportunities and competitive gaps.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and external labs to develop innovative formulations that meet safety, efficacy, and quality standards.
• Source and evaluate new ingredients and raw materials, ensuring quality and sustainability.
• Work closely with marketing teams to define product positioning, claims, and go-to-market strategies.
• Oversee product testing, stability studies, and regulatory compliance in target markets.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful and timely product launches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and other external partners.
• Prepare product development reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay ahead of industry regulations and ensure all product development adheres to global standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in beauty product development, ideally within skincare and cosmetics.
• Proven success in formulating and launching a variety of beauty products.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of global cosmetic regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, Health Canada) and safety standards.
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in using product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
