DevOps Engineer

We are assembling a world-class technology team and want a Dev Ops Engineer who can write Kubernetes that performs under pressure. A senior Dev Ops Engineer seat that takes 6 years of Professionalism seriously, pays $107,000 - $163,000, and hands over the technology reins.

• Build the tinker-friendly Datadog feature that wins back the CT accounts Nex Gen Systems lost
• Refactor the technology module Nex Gen Systems has been afraid to touch
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and Kubernetes libraries
• Prototype rough Change Management ideas fast, then decide which earn a place in Nex Gen Systems's stack
• Identify bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements proactively
• Stand up observability so Nex Gen Systems sees failures before customers in CT do
• Translate fuzzy product wishes from Nex Gen Systems stakeholders into shippable Kubernetes services

• A New Haven network, or the hustle to build one from scratch
• The kind of reliability that earns you the hard assignments
• Comfortable owning projects from concept through delivery
• Cross-functional ease, from Change Management engineers to Git Ops marketers
• Written communication clear enough to survive a forwarded email chain

The relentlessly-kind people at Nex Gen Systems have spent years proving that world-class Kubernetes can absolutely come out of New Haven. Psychological safety is something we actively build, so disagreeing in good faith is encouraged.

Your package includes $107,000 - $163,000, premium healthcare, and a generous home-office allowance for our distributed team.
