Basin Industries is a leading custom packaging manufacturer serving OEMs and suppliers in markets like automotive, aerospace, and heavy equipment. With eight production facilities, we are hiring a Director of Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement to implement a lean strategy across every site.

Key Responsibilities- Own the operational excellence roadmap and a common improvement framework (tools, standard work, KPIs) across all eight plants.
- Coach general managers, operational excellence coordinators, and site teams to own and sustain improvements locally.
- Build KPI dashboards that compare sites and track results.
- Train employees in lean and problem-solving methods.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- 10+ years in manufacturing, including 5+ years leading continuous improvement across multiple sites.
- Proven results improving quality, delivery, and cost.
- Experience in custom packaging, metal fabrication, wood products, plastics, or similar high-mix manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to influence and coach General Managers without direct authority.
- Willingness to travel about two-thirds of the time.
This is a remote position, ideally based in Indiana, central to our eight facilities. Expect to travel about two-thirds of the time, including regular overnight stays, and to work on the production floor in standard PPE.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary range: $125,000 to $200,000, depending on experience. A performance bonus tied to improvement may also apply.
