This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern production environment where quality, precision, and attention to detail are key.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing a variety of components to customer specifications, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Hours:
6am-2pm/2pm-10pm weekly rotational - Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week
Pay: £14 per hour
Contract:
Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Prepare components and surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
Mix paints and coatings accurately according to specifications.
Apply paint finishes using spray equipment to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
Carry out quality inspections and rectify any defects where required.
Read and work from job sheets, specifications, and production instructions.
Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas to a high standard.
Ensure all work is completed in line with production schedules and deadlines.
Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Support wider manufacturing operations when required.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Wet Paint Sprayer, Industrial Painter, or Finisher.
Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, automotive, or production environment.
Knowledge of paint preparation, mixing, and application techniques.
Ability to produce a high-quality finish with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload priorities.
