Manufacturing Process Engineer; No Remote

Our client, a prominent manufacturer of precision industrial equipment, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their established operations team in
** Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, ZA**. This is a critical on-site role focused on optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and refining manufacturing techniques for complex mechanical assemblies. This position requires hands‑on involvement in the factory floor, working directly with production staff, quality control, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and enhance existing processes.

• Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure designs are manufacturable and optimize for production.
• Oversee the implementation and validation of new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality, and efficiency.
• Train production personnel on new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on the manufacturing floor.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably in an industrial equipment or precision manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of manufacturing techniques (machining, welding, assembly, etc.).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a strong asset.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork on the factory floor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
