An established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Coordinator to support commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This is a 100% remote opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of electrical systems, BIM coordination, and construction drawings.
Responsibilities- Develop, review, and coordinate electrical BIM models for commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with other building systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, general contractors, and other trades.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and electrical layouts for accuracy.
- Produce coordinated drawings, shop drawings, and installation details.
- Identify potential field conflicts and communicate solutions before installation.
- Maintain model accuracy and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
- Support project teams throughout preconstruction and construction.
- Experience in electrical BIM coordination within the electrical construction industry.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM coordination software.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.
- Understanding of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with remote project teams.
- Salary range: $85,000-$115,000, depending on experience.
