Digital Marketing Manager at Sunset Social
Location: Remote, US-based (Austin/Atlanta areas preferred, but not required)
Pay: $20/hr
Hours: 35-40 hours/week

Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead execution across client accounts, with a primary focus on social media management
. This role combines hands‑on content creation, analytics, and client communication with broader marketing support such as newsletters, social media ads, and other marketing efforts.

, and has proven experience in creating clean, effective designs in Canva
.
This role is fully remote (US-based), with a preference for Austin/Atlanta-based candidates for occasional in-person meetings. This role reports directly to our Founder.
Key Responsibilities Social Media- Create and curate content (graphics, copy, etc.) for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and X.
- Manage accounts, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and responding to comments/messages.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow audiences and drive engagement.
- Track analytics and provide actionable insights.
- Write, edit, and design client newsletters.
- Support with Mailchimp setup, template design, and campaign sending.
- Assist with social media advertising campaigns.
- Support web copy updates.
- Communicate with clients, including regular updates, gathering feedback, and addressing needs; also participating in strategy calls when necessary.
- Support other marketing projects and services as needed.
- Detail orientation is critical — we expect clean execution and consistency.
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt to multiple brand voices.
- Proficiency in Canva and experience producing polished, on‑brand graphics.
- Experience with social media analytics, content calendars, and strategy.
- Client communication skills: able to manage updates, gather feedback, and contribute on strategy calls.
- B2B marketing experience is a plus.
- Experience with photography, videography, paid ads, web/UX, or other marketing specialities are a plus.
- Marketing degree (or equivalent experience) preferred, not required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
