Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Engagement Specialist to join our remote team in Singapore. This role focuses on building and nurturing online communities, enhancing brand visibility, and driving meaningful interactions across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital engagement, understand social trends, and be skilled at creating compelling content that resonates with audiences.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute social media engagement strategies to increase brand awareness and audience interaction.
Monitor social media platforms, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, image, video) tailored to each platform.
Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to improve engagement performance.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to align social media campaigns with overall brand objectives.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Build relationships with online communities and key influencers to boost engagement.
Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably for brands or businesses.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Creativity and an eye for visually appealing content.
Ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement.
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
Minimum 1–3 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community engagement.
Experience working remotely or managing virtual communities is a plus.
Full-time, remote position based in Singapore.
Flexible working hours with occasional requirements for online collaboration across different time zones.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships online.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple social media platforms simultaneously.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing trends, and social media algorithms is advantageous.
