Outline: Spa Communications is an award-winning PR, Podcasting, Content Marketing and Social Media agency based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. We’re on the hunt for an ambitious, committed, and driven PR Account Manager or PR Senior Account Manager to focus exclusively on the agency’s longest-standing client – a world leader in sustainability, renewable energy and AI infrastructure technologies.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, experienced PR professional to work directly with our directors on the agency’s cornerstone client, a Fortune 500 company recently named the World’s Most Sustainable Corporation for 2025 by Corporate Knights.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced, ambitious agency. You’ll expand your existing skills, take on greater responsibilities, and have a direct impact on one of our most high-profile accounts. A strong passion for media relations is essential, along with a solid network of B2B technology, IT, Channel, and national media contacts.
As the Account Manager, you’ll lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns, collaborating closely with senior leaders to oversee budgets, brief creatives and coordinate project teams. You’ll serve as the senior point of contact for the client, driving the day-to-day relationship, ensuring smooth delivery of work, and aligning strategy with execution.
You will also play a key role in balancing client expectations with internal workflows, building operational plans, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard. Your input will help shape the agency’s growth by nurturing long-term client satisfaction and unlocking new opportunities which can create added value to the account.
This hybrid role combines remote work 2-3 in-office days per week and may involve occasional international travel based on client needs.
Key responsibilities:
Customer
- Managing the cornerstone agency client
- Liaising with client marcoms on press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
- Briefing and updating the client on press campaigns
- Analysing PR coverage and providing feedback to the client
- Maintain a high level of performance on all deliverables.
- Ensure strong planning, service delivery and maintain a solid client/agency relationship.
- Support the agency’s new business and growth strategy by nurturing and servicing the customer with any requirements, and proactively sharing any new services the agency can offer.
- Execute duties and assignments as directed in compliance with objectives, KPIs and budgets.
- Act as the main point of contact internally to Account Directors and other senior management stakeholders for all project work with the client.

- Lead weekly internal and external client meetings, while monitoring campaign deliverables PR activities and reporting on successes
- Manage teams effectively to ensure client campaigns are successfully delivered.
- Ensure that all campaign deliverables and projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and to a high standard.
- To nurture and maintain client relationship.
- To plan, develop and proactively share additional service recommendations that will add value, increase the client’ campaign successes, and support agency growth.
- A relevant graduate degree in PR, Marketing or Digital Marketing, Business, or Media and Communications is welcomed, but not essential.
- High levels of communication – both presentation, verbal and written skills.
- A passion for the media, including, PR and social media.
- Qualifications from the PRCA, Chartered Institute of PR (CIPR), or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), are also welcomed as an alternative to a degree or at postgraduate level.
