Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $94,000.00/yr
The Manager:
Strategic Communications plays a crucial role in developing and executing communication plans, supporting initiatives that enhance RSNA’s visibility. Focus areas include Media Relations and supporting the Director of Public Information and Communications. The role requires broad communication skills across various projects.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote RSNA's programs and initiatives.
- Manage media relations, including writing press releases, managing web content, and tracking media coverage.
- Coordinate with teams for RSNA’s annual meeting, including media activities and press events.
- Create presentations, speeches, and multimedia content for leadership.
- Research and write press releases, manage freelance writers, and support video content production.
- Manage media contact lists and monitoring tools.
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, media relations, or related fields.
- Proficiency in press release writing, social media, multimedia tactics, and project management.
- Excellent communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop; experience with video editing, Cision, or Critical Mention is a plus.
