We are looking for a highly strategic and results‑driven Manager, Content Marketing to be the architect of our entire content ecosystem. This is a critical, high‑impact role that goes beyond writing; you will own the vision, execution, and optimization of all content designed to educate business owners, accelerate the sales pipeline, and solidify Work Wave's position as the dominant market authority.
You will leverage a deep understanding of audience needs, B2B sales cycles, and data analytics to build a robust content program that drives measurable business outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:- The Manager, Content Marketing will lead content initiatives, mentor junior team members, and ensure all content aligns with brand messaging, drives customer engagement, and supports marketing and sales goals.
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and own the end‑to‑end content strategy, from ideation and planning to distribution and measurement. Align the content strategy with overall brand, marketing, and business objectives. - Content Ecosystem Management:
Map out the customer journey and define the content needed at each stage (awareness, consideration, decision, and retention). Manage a comprehensive content calendar across all platforms, including blogs, ebooks, video, and whitepapers. Manage AI tools and must be passionate about integrating AI tools into the content development process. - Content Creation & Oversight:
Oversee the content creation process, either directly or by guiding a team of writers, designers, and subject matter experts. Ensure all content is high‑quality, on‑brand, and optimized for search engines (SEO) and user experience. - Performance Analysis:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for content, such as traffic, engagement, lead generation, and conversions. Use data analytics to measure content effectiveness and make data‑driven decisions to optimize the strategy. - Research and write original copy and/or edit copy for a wide range of marketing materials including website copy, blog posts, case studies, eBooks, email campaigns, landing pages, whitepapers, and sell sheets.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. - Experience:
5-7 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies. Experience working for b2b SaaS companies is preferred. Experience with field service is preferred. - Skills:
- Deep understanding of the full content lifecycle, from ideation to distribution and analysis.
- Experience content marketing platforms, specifically those powered by AI.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring a team.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strategic and creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
- Highly collaborative and an effective communicator.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- A constant learner who stays ahead of content marketing trends.
- Flexible and open to new tools and processes.
$95,000 - $100,000 a year
In our dedication to salary transparency, we provide a compensation range for each role and the final offer will be dependent on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and the organization's budget.
