Senior Account Manager
Location:
Richmond, VA – In‑office Monday‑Thursday, WFH Fridays. Remote option is available to candidates with direct senior living or senior care agency experience, located in other states.
$75,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, owning the relationship end‑to‑end.
- Build deep, strategic partnerships with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate seamlessly with creative, digital, media, and marketing teams to deliver work that exceeds expectations.
- Participate in brainstorming and strategic planning sessions, contributing to the development of innovative marketing solutions.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Lead project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure on‑time, on‑strategy execution.
- Conduct regular client meetings to provide updates, gather insights, and reinforce alignment.
- Partner with internal marketing and digital experts to establish annual KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Monitor and discuss key metrics such as lead volume, conversion health, and occupancy‑related outcomes.
- Help clients pivot strategy as market conditions, budgets, or priorities shift.
- Translate data into insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
- Partner closely with a Project Success Manager to translate client needs into actionable plans and keep work moving efficiently.
- 8+ years of account management experience within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
- Direct experience supporting senior living or senior care clients from an agency perspective is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and independently.
- Strong client‑facing communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident making strategic recommendations and pushing back when needed.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change in a growing agency environment.
- Hands‑on senior living experience required for remote work.
- Experience aligning with creative‑led, customized marketing—not purely formulaic lead‑generation models.
- Comfortable working in a Mac‑based environment; proficient with Google Workspace and virtual meeting tools.
- Experience with project management platforms such as Function Point, Basecamp, Asana, , or similar.
- Highly collaborative, curious, and people‑centered.
