UGLYCASH is both a statement and our way to deliver the difference against everything that is wrong with traditional financial services — the dishonesty protected by fine print, and cold, distant institutions that discriminate based on location, identity, or wealth.

We aim to do things differently: replacing lack of honesty with transparency and brutal honesty, discrimination with global financial inclusion, and distant institutions with human connection.

To achieve this, we have built services that clearly differentiate us from traditional banks. Our name is a statement of our commitment to authenticity, honesty, and human connection — not trust from a name, but trust built through our actions.

Why do we do this? We believe access to stable currency is a human right. Disparities in financial access fuel inequality and migration. We exist for THE PEOPLE, to serve everyone and bridge the gap.

We are seeking a Head of Community to lead UGLYCASH's online and in-person communities and support functions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and grow UGLYCASH's online communities across platforms (X, Reddit, Whats App, Discord)
• Create, curate, and produce community content (live streams, online resources, social posts)
• Scale community support and moderation infrastructure (CRM, support ticket systems)
• Coordinate and host in-person community events and meetups
• Gather and analyze community feedback to influence product development
• Represent UGLYCASH as a public ambassador and figurehead

What we look for in you:

• 3+ years of experience in technology and crypto
• Proven ability to lead and grow a community
• Experience scaling and operationalizing customer success systems
• Operational experience in a crypto startup or project
• Management and team growth experience
• Active presence on social media with an existing following
• Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable hosting live events
• Strong operational, project management, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset
• Located in the United States and willing to relocate to San Francisco after hiring

Compensation: Competitive package including cash and potential token grants
