  • High school diploma
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track social media referrals and conversions.
  • Effective communication, proofreading, and editing skills (e.g., locating errors in sentence structure and design inconsistencies).
  • Ability to translate organizational goals and programmatic initiatives into actionable social media campaigns that increase awareness and engagement with target audiences.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and developing original visual content (graphics, photos, short-form video) using professional or consumer-level design tools (e.g., Canva Pro, Adobe Express, or similar software).
  • Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail and time management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of social media analytics, including the ability to track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), interpret performance data, and make data-driven content decisions.
  • Experience working specifically within the higher education sector, particularly with international programs, global initiatives, or study abroad services.
  • Experience conducting interviews or obtaining high-quality quotes from stakeholders (e.g., faculty, students, international partners) for content generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment and with external partners
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description: Reporting to the Associate Vice President of TXST Global Operations, the Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for all social media content strategy and implementation for the primary divisional social channels. This work includes developing campaigns that increase awareness and engagement with specific audiences to drive interest in TXST Global’s ongoing programs, new initiatives, events, etc. In addition, the position will assist with various campaigns and participate in marketing strategy initiatives in other nonsocial channels.

The coordinator will also be expected to conceptualize, research and develop graphics for social media channels, oversee e-marketing interfaces, and develop and deliver presentations as well as perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and data-driven individual with a strong passion for digital communication in a global education context.

Job Duties: The Coordinator of Social Media for TXST Global Operations is responsible for the strategic execution and operational management of the division’s social media presence. This encompasses proactive management of various social media platforms, maintaining a constant awareness of current industry trends and best practices, and establishing robust operational procedures for content publishing and community engagement. A critical duty involves the continuous tracking and monitoring of peer institutions and benchmark divisions, setting alerts for mentions of TXST Global, and ensuring all responses are appropriate and timely.

Furthermore, the role requires proactively developing and presenting recommendations to senior leadership on how to effectively integrate divisional information into the broader University social media efforts, significantly increase audience engagement, and establish rigorous tracking practices that yield ongoing performance metrics to inform and guide all future content strategy decisions.
