DescriptionRFG Advisory is redefining how advisors experience marketing—and we’re looking for a Marketing Specialist who can make that experience exceptional. You’ll partner directly with Advisors to translate ideas into real results, managing the details, timelines, and teamwork that make campaigns succeed.
This role blends project management, marketing execution, and relationship-building. You’ll help bring strategy to life through organized workflows, on-brand assets, and campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes.
Please note: Prior experience in financial services or a regulated industry is required.
Location- This is a full-time remote position requiring 40 hours per week. Our corporate office is located in Birmingham, AL. If candidate is in Birmingham, the position will require a hybrid schedule 3-days in-office and 2 days remote.
- Coordinate marketing projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, accurate, and aligned with advisor goals.
- Build, maintain, and update project trackers, timelines, and status reports in project management tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including design, copy, events, compliance, and vendors to execute campaigns efficiently.
- Identify roadblocks, clarify next steps, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support the creation, setup, and delivery of advisor marketing campaigns across email, social, digital, and event channels.
- Manage campaign assets, perform proofing, and ensure all materials are accurate, on-brand, and compliant.
- Monitor campaign performance using marketing analytics tools and suggest optimizations.
- Serve as a marketing resource for advisors, translating goals into actionable campaigns and guiding best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors through proactive communication and reliable support.
- Track, summarize, and report campaign performance using tools like FMG, GA4, and Hub Spot.
- Support quarterly advisor reporting with clean data, visuals, and actionable insights.
- Manage production timelines for digital and print collateral to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Maintain marketing libraries and ensure all advisor-branded materials are current, compliant, and easily accessible.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure alignment between copy, design, and overall campaign strategy.
- Project Management: Cross-functional coordination and timeline ownership.
- Campaign Execution: Advisor campaigns across digital, print, and events.
- Data & Insights: Reporting and performance tracking.
- Advisor Engagement: Trusted partner and relationship manager.
- Process Optimization: Continuous improvement of marketing systems and workflows.

- 3+ years of direct financial services experience (RIA/advisor marketing experience preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience using project management and marketing platforms (e.g., FMG, Hub Spot, Zoho, Asana, Click Up, or other transferable systems).
- Understanding of marketing campaign structure: lists, landing pages, workflows, creative assets, and analytics.
- Clear, confident communication skills—written and verbal—with strong relationship-building ability.
- Collaborative, curious, and proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Canva, Word Press, or basic HTML familiarity
- Comfort analyzing marketing performance data and optimizing campaigns
- Experience with compliance and content approval workflows
