What You Will Be Doing:
Lead our advertising strategy for our line of automotive car wash and detailing accessories. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns and a passion for the automotive aftermarket industry. This person will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving ad efficiency, and strengthening our presence in one of Amazon’s most competitive retail categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Develop and manage targeted PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display, for automotive cleaning and detailing items. Focus on capturing high‑intent keywords to drive sales growth. - Optimization & Analysis:
Regularly review campaign data to identify trends and adjust bids, keywords, and placements for improved ROAS and lower ACOS. Use analytics to guide strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities. - Product Launch Support:
Create advertising strategies for new product launches to maximize visibility during crucial ranking periods. Work with the content team to ensure listings are optimized with strong SEO and compelling visuals. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Coordinate with marketing, creative, and eCommerce teams to align on promotions, seasonal campaigns, and maintain brand consistency across advertising efforts. - Budget Management:
Oversee advertising budgets for various product categories and marketplaces, allocating spend based on performance metrics to maximize returns. - Competitor & Market Insights:
Monitor competitors’ advertising tactics, keyword trends, and new Amazon features. Stay updated on automotive market trends and seasonal buying patterns to maintain a competitive edge. - Reporting:
Generate weekly and monthly reports detailing campaign metrics, insights, and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Amazon Advertising campaigns, preferably in automotive, tools, or related consumer goods categories.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Amazon Ads Console, Seller Central, and reporting tools.
- Experience using third‑party platforms such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Pacvue.
- Deep understanding of keyword optimization, audience targeting, and conversion rate improvement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple product lines.
Preferred Attributes
- Passion for the automotive industry, detailing, or car care culture.
- Familiarity with automotive category nuances such as product bundling, fitment details, and accessory compatibility.
- Amazon Advertising Certification or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Experience managing global marketplaces (Amazon US, CA, UK, etc.).
