As the company continues to grow, Cutting Edge is looking for an experienced Marketing Director to take full ownership of the marketing function. This role will serve as the senior leader responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy, managing a hybrid team, and building a scalable marketing engine that consistently drives lead generation, conversion, and brand growth.
This is a locally based (Vancouver, Washington) hybrid role that includes a mix of home office work, in‑office collaboration, and occasional on‑site presence at job sites for content capture and team alignment.
THIS ROLE INCLUDES- Reporting to the Founder, own and lead the end‑to‑end marketing strategy from planning through execution
- Build, scale, and continuously optimize a high‑performing lead generation and conversion engine
- Define growth strategy, messaging, and offers across paid media and funnels to drive qualified demand
- Build and operate a scalable content engine, overseeing content production and distribution across channels to support direct‑to‑consumer growth
- Lead content and social media strategy with a strong focus on direct‑to‑consumer growth and local market engagement
- Participate in local, on‑site marketing efforts including job site visits, content capture, and collaboration with sales and production teams
- Manage and optimize CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation within Hub Spot
- Define, track, and report on performance metrics, ensuring clear ROI visibility across all marketing channels
- Lead, coach and develop a hybrid marketing organization including internal team members and external agencies
- Partner closely with sales and operations to ensure strong alignment and feedback loops
- Work hands‑on with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and content partners to execute marketing initiatives
- Proven experience leading and scaling a marketing function within a growth‑stage business
- Strong background in direct‑to‑consumer marketing, with a track record of driving qualified leads and conversion
- Hands‑on experience across paid media, funnels, content strategy, and conversion optimization
- Demonstrated experience building and leading a content engine that drives demand and supports direct‑to‑consumer growth
- Proven ability to oversee content strategy and execution, including managing content teams, video editors, and external partners
- Ability to balance strategic ownership with practical, hands‑on execution as needed
- Demonstrated success building repeatable systems, processes, and scalable marketing infrastructure
- Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams
- Growth‑minded, results‑driven, and motivated to build and own a long‑term marketing function
- Experience in home services, contracting, real estate, or a closely related industry strongly preferred
- Local to the Vancouver or Portland metro area and able to work on‑site
- Enthusiastic and positive
